Culture & Ethics

I came to see, in my time at IBM, that culture isn't just one aspect of the game, it is the game.

After many years working in this space is this simple explanation the key to understanding Culture and Ethics?

Every organisation’s culture is different and while no culture is wrong, some can be toxic and need remediation. Some cultures are tight with strict process and policies, others loose but with a strong sense of purpose.

What is important is to place value on your culture and make sure it adds value. Building your Leadership and Talent is a critical foundation stone for successful cultural change as leaders guide groups to perform and define ‘how things get done’.

My extensive global experience with corporates facing cultural crisis, including BP and Barclays, gives me the experience, confidence and understanding to remediate organisations culture(s) and ultimately create value for all stakeholders.

I can support you to:
  • Identify, remediate or transform your organisational culture
  • Measure your cultural progress (or state) by defining the indicators, enabling robust reporting to inform your executive, board and regulators
  • Activate or develop values, behaviours and purpose
  • Determine your organisation's Moral DNA using Roger Steare's psychometric - a robust psychometric enabling you to have a different conversation about your organsiation's ethics
  • Build employee engagement
  • Design and facilitate leadership development programs
  • Ensure you have diversity and inclusion embedded in your organisation
  • Coach your executive and senior leaders

An organisation's culture and ethics is more important than ever.

The explosion of social media means that an how an organisation acts, and how it is seen to act, is never far from scrutiny. More important, however, is that an organisation do the right thing by its employees, by its stakeholders, by its customers, by the community and by the environment — not just because it boosts the bottom line, but because it is, simply, the right thing to do.
