Diversity is good for business – and if an organisation is not intentional about Diversity and Inclusion it will not realise the value it brings. Organisations and individuals have unconscious bias and to change this it is only by intention.
Companies are still not realising the value of the diversity they have in their organisations. And too, women, people with disabilities and Aboriginal people continue to be under-represented. Companies are not taking advantage of the diverse talent that is immediately employable.
As Head of Diversity and Inclusion in both private and public sectors I have a deep understanding of issues business and leaders face and how to make change happen across complex organisations.
